Always wanted 99 Fletching, but never knew where to start? I know a little bit about Fletching and I'll give you some advice. REmember, the ETA's are rough estimates and I haven't been there for a while so you may come in well under/over that time. Sorry, but I am just giving you what I think works best.
Level-1 Get your best axe and normal knife and stand outside the Grand Exchange and start hacking at the normal trees. when you have all 26, use your knife on them and turn into arrow shafts.
ETA level 35, >1 hour
Level-35 Buy some willow logs and get your trusty knife and start making willow shortbows (u).
ETA level 40, >45 min.
Level-40 Grab some more willow logs and turn those into willow longbows (u).
ETA level 50, >1 hour
Level-50 Now to maples! Get some logs and fletch into shortbows. Remeber, never string until I say so.
ETA level 55, >1 hour
Level-55, You guessed it, longbows (u).
ETA level 70, ~3 hours
Level-70, Awesome, yew longbows now. Buy both the logs and bowstrings from the Grand Exchange. Here is where you can start to use Stealing Creation knives for fater training, or if you want a break from Fletching then play a little. So remember to factor in whether you used them or not into the ETA, i am assuming that you ARE NOT using them when I estimate.
ETA level 85, ~10 hours
Level-85, Simple. Buy magic logs and bow string from GE, fletch then string, sell back. Repeat.
ETA level 92, ~A few days of solid playing
Level-92, Here is where it gets interesting. Now there are two paths. 1. Have <8M, 2. Have >8M. Of course, you could always get to 93/4/5 then switch. Keep in mind, all of these ways offer very fast exp for a high cost, hence the money needed.
Path 1.
a. Attaching adamant/mithril arrowtips to headless arrows. Easy as it sounds.
b. Attaching dragon dart tips to feathers VERY quick exp and a great way of moneylosing
c. Attaching diamond bolt tips to adamant bolts. Make a slight profit but you need a lot of
money to buy bulk
Path 2.
a. Fletch and string magic longbows. Sorry that wasn't more interesting.
